Vile Hypocrisy from DUP Heirarchy

I call on the DUP to stop their campaign of fighting with Ulster Unionists such as William Ross and others who have carried the torch for those that were dissatisfied with the Good Friday Agreement. It seems that at every election the DUP is sure to invent a new way of splitting the traditional unionist vote for their own benefit. Remember the 'Carson Trail'!

They actually claim to oppose the Agreement themselves and they also further claim that the best way for them to do that is by sitting in hundreds of committee meetings with Sinn Fein/IRA and driving around in Ministerial cars.

What vile hypocrisy! The DUP heirarchy will sit on any political body just as soon as a good salary is maintained. It is no longer a secret that many of their council candidates are embarassed by the way their leaders within the party are holding on like grim death to the Assembly to keep it going, when they could have toppled it long ago had they really wanted to.

It is not David Trimble alone any more who desires a stable power-sharing Assembly but also the core of the DUP who now seem to be as irreversibly ensconced on Stormont Hill as Harold Gracey is at Drumcree Hill!

The final say will be taken by the electors next week. To that end, let there be more light shown on the two-faced aspect of Gregory Campbell's approach to the Agreement as opposed to the dedicated and principled stand taken by William Ross and others within the UUP.
